Install and configure the HP VAN SDN Controller

Follow the instructions in the HP VAN SDN Controller Installation Guide for installing a new controller in standalone mode with the icehouse version of the Keystone server on the local machine. The installation process includes downloading and installing all required software other than the operating system.
(Optional) Configure the controller to disable checks for signed application files.

By default, the controller requires that application zip files and any JAR files the zip file contains be signed by a trusted authority.
For a development environment, you can streamline the process of preparing and installing your application on the controller by configuring the controller to disable file signature verification.
